Mr Sani Erak

Mr Sani Erak

Sani was born and raised in Perth, Western Australia. He graduated with Honours from medical school at UWA in 1994, and went onto doing his internship and residency at Royal Perth Hospital before gaining selection for advanced training in orthopaedics. During this time, he was awarded the Gordon-Gordon Taylor medal for highest mark in Australia and New Zealand for the primary surgical examination. In 2005 he was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in Orthopaedic Surgery.

Sani has completed additional sub-specialty training in sports surgery in Canberra, hip and knee surgery (arthroplasty and sports) in Sydney, and hip and knee arthroplasty surgery in one of the most prestigious arthroplasty units in North America, in London, Ontario, Canada. He returned to Perth to 2007, and was subsequently awarded Fellowship of the Australian Orthopaedic Association.

  • Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, 2006.
  • Fellowship Australian Orthopaedic Association.

Registration

Specialist registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA).

Sani consults from Perth Hip and Knee’s main rooms in Subiaco and from the Consulting Suites at SJOG Murdoch Hospital in Murdoch.

Private Hospitals

Sani operates at SJOG Subiaco and SJOG Murdoch Hospitals.

Public Hospitals

Sani does elective surgery at Royal Perth Hospital.
